Throughout the month of October, the ENBEL consortium joined forces with the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent and shared and amazing set of over 30 pieces of art, accompanied by personal stories on climate change.

The stories ranged from climate change impacts, success stories of local adaptation, and calls to action. The assets represent 43 artists and storytellers, 11 organizations, and 6 regions and reached 22 million people on social media over 31 days.

In light of the COP27 outcomes, and the lack of increased ambitions of many countries, it is important to remember that people are at the heart of the climate crises: families that lose their lives, livelihoods, and land, and the individuals that fight to push climate adaptation forward. The campaign is a powerful reminder of this.
