Kick-off event European Public Health Climate&Health day: Climate change affects our health

This joint event by European Public Health Association (EUPHA), Health and Environmental Alliance HEAL and the ENBEL project will officially kick off the theme of the third day of the European Public Health Week. Climate change threatens the basic elements of life such as access to clean air, water, food and shelter – and with that human health. According to the WHO, climate change is the greatest threat to human health in the 21st century. But it could also be the greatest global health opportunity. This interactive event includes presentations by HEAL, ENBEL and the EUPHA sections on Environmental and health and Urban public health.

Speakers will be: Marija Jevtic (EUPHA ENV), Andrea Rebecchi (EUPHA URB) and Anne Stauffer (HEAL). We will also give an overview of the other events that will happen on this day.

Join the zoom meeting for this interactive kick-off in which we kick-off the Wednesday of the EUPHW and talk about climate change.
